The historic La Carrera Panamericana classic-car rally (October 16–22, 2026, Tuxtla Gutiérrez to Zacatecas) passes through San Luis Potosí on its penultimate stage: cars arrive from Guanajuato on October 21 and depart for the Zacatecas finish on October 22. Spectators can see the vintage racing cars on the city streets free of charge; local driver Ricardo Cordero chases a record eighth title.
