Charcas' regional fair in the Altiplano, presented by the state Tourism Secretariat and the municipality, runs August 31 – September 9, 2026: a free Teatro del Pueblo lineup of 16 acts closing September 8 with Los Huracanes del Norte, a cultural homage to the Virgen del Rosario September 4–7, the first Carrera Atlética del Rosario 5K/10K on September 6 (registration $350 MXN), bullfighting shows, mechanical rides and a closing jaripeo-baile on September 9 at Plaza de Toros Guerrita. Organizers expect 150,000 visitors.
